“Have not stayed a large a guest, just been for afternoon tea a few times. Great service and such tasty food. Plenty of it, complimentary drink, free refill if coffee and tea... What's not to like. In such a beautfil place too.”
“What a brilliant find. The hotel is lovely with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The rooms are bright and airy with a modern look, maintaining a nice touch of the traditional. The restaurant is a great experience and the food delicious. The staff are welcoming, friendly and professional, making us feel like valued guests, the whole stay. The estate woodlands are beautiful, especially at this time of year, filled with bluebells. We took part in archery, clay shooting and axe throwing with Michael Coates Activities, which was brilliant fun. The hotel is about a ten minute drive from Bowness on Windermere, so very conveniently located. Thoroughly recommended.”
